Aldi shoppers are obsessing over a $6.99 frozen pizza, with many saying they feel like they’re being transported to Italy with every bite.
The Numero Uno margherita pizza, produced in Italy, has been flying off shelves as customers claim they can’t believe it came from a freezer.
The woodfired pizzas have been a huge hit with shoppers, with many claiming they ‘taste like the real deal’.
‘This looks insane. So it’s a margherita pizza and they woodfire it before (it freezes),’ Queensland shopper Claudia said in her review.
‘The dough is so soft inside but crunchy on the outside. This is so good. The tomato paste is so flavourful. 10 out of 10.’
Her partner was amazed by the taste, saying: ‘That’s not real, that can’t be a bloody box pizza, right? Oh my god, I’m in heaven.’
The store-bought pizzas have been popular for quick and easy meals, with many shoppers even adding their own toppings to bulk them up.
Aussie mum Eisha-Marie Eisel takes the frozen pizzas to another level, adding extra toppings to ‘make it as good as a restaurant but without the price tag’.

‘It is pizza night, so let’s level up some store-bought pizzas,’ she said in her video.
‘Everything you need for these pizzas can be bought from Aldi, starting off with these margherita pizzas, these have the best crust on them.
‘I’m going to add on some thinly sliced red onion, prosciutto and bocconcini. I went ahead and generously popped them all over the top, and then into the oven at 220 degrees for just under 10 minutes.’
After baking it until golden and crispy, she added fresh rocket on top.
‘Now to pull this pizza all together, grab a handful of fresh rocket leaves, sprinkle it over the top. If you want to feel fancy, give it a light drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
‘And Bob’s your uncle, that is it, done in just 15 minutes. So that is two pizzas, two garlic breads for our family-of-five for under $28 and I think that is pretty good.’
Sharing her review of the pizza, she said: ‘Just like what you get in an Italian restaurant, that crust is so fluffy and crisp.
‘The best freezer pizza I have ever eaten, and you can get this from the freezer section at Aldi.’

Many shoppers have been heading into stores to track down the frozen pizzas, with one confirming: ‘OMG it’s elite.’
‘I was stunned by how good it was mainly because it was in a box like what?!’ another shared in disbelief.
‘Is it the best pizza in the world? No. Is it a good pizza and worth the money? YES,’ one revealed.
‘They are banging. We’ve been buying them for about six months,’ another added.
Fans of the pizza revealed it was their ‘best-kept secret’ as they always keep a box in their freezer for lazy dinner nights.
Others said the frozen meal has been selling out everywhere as many are raving about it in viral videos on social media.
‘I went to Aldi to get one today and the freezer was empty! All gone! Sold out. Secret is out,’ one said.
‘I’ve tried to keep this a secret for ages! Now they are going to start getting sold out if you all keep doing this,’ another added.
‘I’ve been getting this pizza for ages because it’s so good and cheap. Now this is going to go viral and there will be none left for us OGs,’ one revealed.
