Disney has sparked outrage among visitors after quietly hiking ticket prices.
It will now cost fans even more to visit the Happiest Place on Earth with Disney World, Florida, and Disneyland, California, both raising the price of several ticket types.
Starting prices at Florida’s least expensive park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, will remain $119 for one-day, one-park admission.
But newly posted rates for the 2027 season reveal that it is peak holiday dates that are the worst affected.
One-day, one-park admission for Magic Kingdom for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve this year was $209.
However, in 2027, this will reach $229.
On Tuesday, Disney World also implemented hikes on its top-tier annual passes.
The increase includes raises of $10 for the entry-level Pixie Dust Pass and $40 for the Pirate Pass, which are both for Florida residents.

The Sorcerer Pass, for Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members, jumped $40 and the top-tier Incredi-Pass, open to all guests, shot up $120.
The West Coast attractions were also hit with their own increases.
California’s Disneyland has kept starting prices, top-end prices and its Magic Key annual pass prices flat but implemented increases elsewhere.
Middle-tier pricing shot up to four percent and park hopper tickets increased by $5 to $10 depending on the dates.
But news of the increasing costs did not go down well with visitors after it was shared on Reddit.
‘The middle to low income working class needs to wise up – the way things are right now, these companies DO NOT NEED US. There are enough people doing well to keep them going. Basically, this stuff is no longer for “regular” folks but for people who are affluent.
‘So, us not going will have little to no impact on their bottom line. They’ve now priced in a large percentage of Americans not being able to afford stuff,’ one wrote.
‘I’ve had a lot of fun there, even as an adult, but I cannot possibly justify the price anymore,’ another added.
‘That really sucks for families with several children,’ someone else shared.

It comes just weeks after Disney World raised the cost of some of its hotels next year.
In September, an avid Disney fan known online as Disney Clips Guy took to X to compare the cost of staying at some of Disney’s resorts in March 2027 and March 2026.
He pointed out that the hotels were a lot more expensive next year, and his post sparked immense backlash for Disney.
For a family of four, Disney’s Pop Century Resort will cost $325 per night including tax on weeknights in mid-March 2027 for a standard room, and $388 per night on weekends.
In comparison, the hotel only cost $281 per night on weeknights in mid-March 2026, and $341 per night on weekends.
Staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will cost $416 per night on weeknights in March 2027 and $500 per night on weekends.
That’s much higher than the cost in March 2026, which was $341 per night on weeknights and $378 per night on weekends.
Over at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, rooms are set to rise from $918 to $1,033 per night for weeknights in mid-March 2027, and go from $1,001 to $1,118 per night for weekends.
‘There seem to be some big resort price increases in 2027! These are the future stay prices for several resorts in March,’ Disney Clips Guy captioned the post. ‘That starting price for Coronado is creeping up there for sure.’
