When brother-sister duo Billie Eilish and Finneas aren’t busy recording albums or performing live shows together, you can often find them making music even on their downtime—something they’ve been doing this fall, in a big way. “We’re in serious album mode right now,” Eilish said over a Zoom call last week. “We’ve been making a lot of music, and just hanging out with each other and our dogs.” (Which means, yes, there may be new music on the way).
This week, however, the pair are stepping outside of music, their core practice, to reveal a brand new creative project: a new collection of jewelry—including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings—that they co-designed, releasing today, made in partnership with the jewelry label John Hardy. Even better, they’re sustainably-minded, all made of repurposed materials and lab-grown diamonds.
